Barga Group Attends Windergy India to Explore New Opportunities in the Wind Energy Industry
Barga Group attended Windergy India in Chennai, one of the country’s leading events for wind energy industry professionals. The trade show provided an opportunity to strengthen our presence in the Indian market, establish new business contacts and explore projects related to the manufacturing of components for the wind energy sector.
Our participation was particularly focused on identifying new collaboration opportunities with wind turbine OEMs, wind tower manufacturers and logistics companies, as well as exploring new product opportunities, including tooling and equipment for the transportation of wind energy components.
A Trade Show Focused on New Collaboration Opportunities
Our participation in Windergy India was very positive. Throughout the event, we held numerous meetings and exchanged insights with several key players in the wind energy industry that we were particularly interested in connecting with.
These meetings gave us the opportunity to gain first-hand insight into the needs of different companies across the sector, present our industrial manufacturing capabilities and explore potential areas of collaboration.

Growth in India’s Wind Energy Market and Its Supply Chain Challenges
One of the main takeaways from the event was the expected growth of the Indian wind energy market over the next five years, particularly in the northern regions of the country.
This outlook is leading manufacturers and suppliers to strengthen, consolidate and secure their supply chains as they prepare for upcoming projects.
We also observed a significant presence of Chinese manufacturers pursuing different sourcing strategies. Some are looking for local suppliers in India, while others continue to import components from China.
For industrial manufacturers such as Barga Group, these dynamics create opportunities to provide manufacturing capacity and build long-term relationships with key players across the industry.
Next Steps: Developing the Opportunities Identified
Our participation in Windergy India reinforces the importance of maintaining an active presence in the markets where we operate. Direct contact with manufacturers, suppliers and procurement teams is essential for building trust and creating new business opportunities.
Following the trade show, our next objective is to continue the conversations started during the event and work on developing the potential projects identified, leveraging our manufacturing capacity in India.
We remain committed to staying close to our customers and providing industrial manufacturing solutions tailored to the needs of a constantly evolving wind energy industry.
